Our facility
Diventures in Alpharetta is a certified SSI instruction facility dedicated to safety and fun. We teach scuba and swim year-round in our indoor pool. We also offer trips to dive destinations near and far, and we carry a full line of high-quality scuba equipment and accessories.

Formerly known as SeaVentures, Diventures carries on the legacy of Beverly & Wyatt Foster, who built Atlanta’s premier shop for scuba instruction by focusing on customer care, quality education, and safety.
Kids swimming lessons
Our experienced and passionate teachers are dedicated to teaching kids to swim in a fun and safe environment. We offer swim classes for kids of all ages and skill levels so everyone can become confident in the water. Learn more about our classes and available times to enroll today.
Adult swim lessons
Our adult lessons fit the needs of all swimmers. Whether you are just starting or want to improve your technique, we offer lessons for all skill levels designed to meet your goals. Classes starting now!
Swim Camps
Our unique swim camps include swimming, games, themed crafts, movies and more! After a swim evaluation to gauge your child’s level, they receive a swim lesson in addition to four hours of open swimming to fine-tune their skills and get comfortable in the water. Camps are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Lifeguarding Certification
Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies. Our American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is key when pursuing a Lifeguard position. Our experienced staff will ensure you get the most of your training. The course is spread over multiple days and includes testing of hands-on skills as well as comprehension on written exams.
Learn to scuba dive in Alpharetta
Start with the SSI Open Water Diver certification. This course opens the door so you can dive around the world, and starts at $649. This includes your Digital Learning materials and Classroom/Pool Sessions with our instructors.
Students need to purchase their own Personal & Safety Gear for class: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy, Bag, Knife, Defog, and Slate. We have local opportunities to complete your four (4) Open Water Training Dives economically and close to home. Ask about our Bus Trips to Florida!
Try Scuba class
Want to try diving and learn to breathe underwater? This introductory class is two hours of fun with our expert instructors. We’ll provide all the equipment. All you need is a swimsuit.
Refresh your skills
Brush up those scuba skills! You’ll review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures. Recommended if you haven’t dove for 6 months or longer.
Local Diving Trips
For those seeking a bit of history, our Meg Tooth Dive in South Carolina’s Cooper River lets you hunt for fossils, including the legendary Megalodon teeth.
