Meet Lindsey Kreul! Lindsey is a swim teacher at Fitchburg Diventures in Wisconsin. You can find her in the water on Thursdays and at the front desk on Fridays. Lindsey is very knowledgeable about our swim program.
We asked Lindsey a few questions about the pool and who she is outside the pool.
What in your life has changed since you started working at Diventures?
Since I’ve started working at Diventures not a lot in my life has changed. I’ve continued my doctorate program in Audiology, which has offered me a range of fun and different experiences. Because of this, I was able to travel to Seattle for the first time for an Audiology conference, and I’ve started my capstone research on over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids.
Why do you enjoy working at Diventures?
I enjoy working at Diventures because I get to help people achieve their goals. It is very rewarding to see a student progress with their skills and to see how excited they are to become better swimmers.
What is something someone should come up and ask you about?
Someone should come up to me and ask me about good restaurants/good food. I love trying new food and checking out different restaurants. I usually have a couple of suggestions for people about different restaurants if they ask but I also love hearing their recommendations. Also, they should ask me about all things audiology (that’s kind of a given). I truly love what I do for school/future career but not many people know about it.
