Learn to scuba dive in Omaha
Being landlocked doesn’t stop us! You can earn your SSI Open Water Diver certification here in Nebraska. We love teaching new divers and helping them build their skills. We offer weekend and weeknight classes to fit your schedule.
Certification has three parts: your Digital Learning materials, Classroom/Pool sessions with our instructors, and four Open Water Training Dives. Students also need to purchase their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Surface Marker Buoy & Reel for training.
Try Scuba experience
Want to try diving and learn to breathe underwater before you take the plunge with certification? This introductory class is two hours of fun! You’ll start with orientation and then hop into the pool. We’ll provide the equipment. All you need is a swimsuit.
Refresh your skills
If it’s been over a year since you donned your scuba gear, we recommend taking a Scuba Skills Update. Our dive professionals will review assembling and disassembling your gear, proper buoyancy skills, and emergency procedures. Classes offered weekly!

Our facility
Our state-of-the-art facility in Omaha has a 25-yard heated pool ranging in depth from 3 to 14 feet, locker rooms, a glass viewing area for parents, a large retail space, a service center, and multiple classrooms for training.
Situated just north of the L Street Marketplace, Diventures serves water lovers from Omaha, Millard, La Vista, Ralston, Papillion, Gretna, Elkhorn, Springfield, Bellevue, Council Bluffs, and beyond!
